    Strainer Install...RXP

How is everyone mounting the strainer on the RXP.... and the RXT for that matter. I had a custom aluminum mount made up for the strainer on the RXP. I need to get some on the water testing done but it is real accesable. Easy to grab and clean out while riding, and not in a spot where it can break and cause a loss of cooling. I will get some pictures up once I get it installed but was wondering what the current solutions were.

I could easily get a nice set of these made up I know most of the metal working industry on Long Island so fabrication is not a problem. Let me know if anyone is interested and I'll look further into it.

That looks like some nice solid hose. Clean setup!!

I wonder what it would take to tap off of the RXP pump......

So whats up no RXP setups?? I'd post a pic of mine but My motor just took a crap so no photo shoot for her (see milk and toast post).

On the bright side for the few minutes I was riding before the motor went the strainer had already picked up a bunch of grass while I idled back to the dock

Pale, are you cooling the IC with the OPAS water supply? If so, does it flow enough?

    check this thread out...

I`m not using the plastic fitting that was used for the opas, I fabbed a thru hull using AN fittings and anodized hose ends.

there are much cheaper route to go.

you could just use a brass thru hull bulkhead fitting and a few 90 degree elbows and use 1/2 hose and make necc adjustments.

I`ve had to install a reducer jet/orfice inside the 45 degree fitting in the pump to lower the output pressure. There is plenty of flow thru there!...PR...

NOTE* search the board for my posts on this IC cooling and you`ll find all the info on how I did this...
Kinch is also working on one of his own and I`m waiting to hear some baseline pressure in stock form...
