Kawasaki 900 zxi steering and trim problem

My 900 zxi that i just purchased seems a little loose sterring it to the left. It just doesn't feel right. My trim is also not working. Checked the fuse and it is fine. Any ideas on where to start trouble shooting these two issues?

Is it possible to adjust or tighten the steering on a jet ski. When i turn the steering out of water it looks OK visually, but it feels very loose turning it to the left in the water. Any ideas where to start?

The zxi's are known for having trim problems... That little egg on the bottom front right of your hull is the trim box and water runs up the trim cable and into it, or seeps into it and rusts the motor... Check the rubber boot on your trim cable at the back end of your boat where it connects to the nozzle, i bet it is ripped/torn....

The steering can be adjusted a little also back the the nozzle of the boat. Mostly for adjusting the alignment slightly. Other than that check for any loose nuts, and connections in your steering cable and handlebars... use a little mirror if you have to...
