What impeller can an XLT run with and without a 150psi head?
Wanted to know what pitch is the limit for a stock head and 150 psi rec head on an XLT? Seems like every different company recommends a different impeller. Group K, RIVA and R&D recommend a Solas 12/18 for stock and replacement heads. Island recommends a solas 13/19 for a stock head and 13/20 SB for a boat with a pro-tec head (150 psi).
Looking to go to either the Pro-tec head or have a spare head modified by Group K. I'm already running a Solas 12/18 and getting 61.0 MPH on my GPS.
All my other mods are listed below.

a good 13/19 is perfect, then get it tweaked just right for YOUR boat and iw ill make even more of a difference!

Dave at Impros recommended the 13/19 he said the 12/18 has a smaller hub diameter and cavitates too much. I had the 12/18 and it spun up the rpm's and went no where in a hurry. I went with his recomendation and it made a huge difference in hook up and acceleration. I have installed PPK, R&D Grate and an R&D Pump cone and am also running an R&D head 140 PSI and aftermarket carbs and F/A.
