    Loss of traction

Went for an 1.5 hour run this morning the ski ran GREAT, absolutly great. Took it out again later this evening and it ran great for another 1.5hrs. Then on my last run I go to make a nice fast left hand sweeper, close my radius, whip around, start moving again, the ski hits the rev limiter. Normal stuff, but then it wouldnt stop bouncing of the limiter.

I was able to apply a little amount of throttle to move it around but when id open it up (maybe 30% open) it hit the rev limiter. Got it out of the water and the engine revs exactly like its usually does every time i take it out of the water.

I had a similar issue not to long ago complaining to rich that it felt as if the rpm's would rise to fast and the ski didnt pull like it used too. so we did the tunnel reinforcement and reset/sealed the pump shoe, repitched the prop to 14/18 and the ski ran great.

I plan to take the ski apart tomorrow, what should i be looking for that might cause this?

only forign objects in the grate/tunnel/prop was this stupid algea that been floating on lake austin for years, so nothing out of the ordinary. prop looks clean from both inside and outside. ill remove it to see if something new arrives, if i can get the bolts off, maybe the prop came loose.

unfortunatly the prop is still attached and spins freely, of course it couldnt be that easy. no objects in the tunnel at all.
