    Good deal or not?

I'm shopping for a "new" double PWC trailer. The one I have now really can't bear the load for my two RXTs. And, I can't seem to find a good used one locally. Today, I found a brand new trailer that retails for $1,799.00: Aluminum I Beam construction, 3500lb axle, set up w/adjustable bunks for two PWCs, etc... It's basically set up for what I need except a center walk board and a forward storage box. I think it's made by McClaine or McClane in Houston, TX. Any opinions? Or, what else is out there?

I don't know about the McClain aluminum trailers but the galvanized double they sell is a POS. $1799 for an aluminum double isn't bad though.

Find a sportsman dealer. They make galvanized trailers and IMO, they are one of the best out there. I have had 2 of the duals and can kick myself in the ass for ever selling them. I also had a single that was real nice.

The long dual is nice and will hold up well.

Kirk, thanks for the beta. I will check that out. It does look similiar in build to the one I'm shopping but mine will have torsion suspension (is that better? ). Also, the dealer is right here near my home town.

Just having the dealer near by is worth it.
The torsion axles ride much better but are more expensive to replace if they get damaged.
