    Acceleration

I have a 2008 rxp215 that is stock and want to modify it i want the acceleration to be as fast as possible with out lossing topend(gaining if possible) i would like some help on where i should start.
Also i have recently lost my holeshot because of cavitation could this be from towing a tube or did i suck something hard up.
    Thanks

if you're starting to cavitate, check your wear ring. You can start modding with the do-it-yourself stuff, like freeflow and 4" intake, that way your pockets won't be hurting as bad. There are literally tons of used parts flowing through this site, that you can make your ski pretty fast.

Check this thread out http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/showthread.php?t=16773 Great starting info. You can spend anywhere from $1,000 to $10,000. The more mods, the better the acceleration the better the top speed, they typically come hand in hand.

If you shop in the classifieds you can find some great deals on parts

You can start with the 4" air intake, free flow exhaust, intake grate, and prop. That would be about $500 if you shop around the classifieds. If you add the XS intercooler (new) you will be right about $900 and will have noticeable gains.

This is what I would do

Get the 4in Kanaflex setup from the online store (Fizzle), Add the free flow exhaust pipe, get a worx grate, buy the fizzle intercooler setup. Once you get all that installed see where you are rpm wise and then send your prop to Erik at Speedfreaks for a repitch. This is cheaper and you may be satisfied with this rather than spending the extra cash on a new prop.

All of the info is on there boards for you to read. Dont get to scared about performing the mods (they are not as bad as they seem)

See if you can find someone close by that is experienced in performing mods to our type of skis. I did this (IBADTON) he had much experience and all of the necessary tools. He helped me and or supervised me while I worked on mine and gave me confidence in what I was doing.

You can find all of these parts in the online store here and they fit your budget.
