Thread: Over stuffing..

    Over stuffing..

Could someone please explain to me what "over stuffing" the pump means, and when does it happen? I have a RXP-X, and what can I do to prevent it? I have a Riva stage 1 kit, an upgraded blower, 50lb injectors, Riva ECU, and a 4in. kanaflex intake. Could some also please recommend a prop too?

    Thanks

I think that is what comes with the Riva stage 1 kit.

In order to recommend an impeller upgrade, they need to know your rpms and GPS speed... Ron

As soon as I finish it up I will let you know. I was recommended to start with the smallest ring. True?

I am pretty much running the same set up as you but with rear air and that is the prop I have. I have an R&D grate though.

Would you recommend the R&D grate over the Riva, if so why?

I think you will have better luck with a WORX or R&D grate at high speeds 77+. Two guys I ride with have been hurt on PXs running RIVA grates. One grate broke and the other would start trying to stuff at 77+. Both guys sustained ribs injuries. I have been running a R&D at 80+ for over 35 hours without issues. Guess what these guys are running now. I do have a new WORX in the package, but must say I am a little chicken now to try at 80+. Especially since I don't have cavatiton issues and have a pretty good holeshot and topend.

Man JP, You need to share all your mods. I would love to have mine run like yours next year.
