    set screws on Riva nozzle

What do you use to hold those little allen set screws that hold the ring in place. Inx say pipe sealant. Do they mean the tape? Those 2 little screws are all that hold the ring in place. It must work, but it looks a little weak. How about blue loctite?

I use nothing, just equal torque. Dont over tighten or you will strip out threads on nozzle, is very thin.

I use a small blob of black silcaflex/silicon over the top of the set screw once tightened. Just peels off when you need change rings.

It would be good to keep the allen wrench in your tool bag or glove box too. If the screws ever get loose enough to spit the ring out into the exit nozzle you can go to shallow water and put it back in.

I use nothing and now after the last big ride where my ski sat in the salt water for 3 days I cant get the set screws out. I havent tried anything like PB Blaster, just plain allen key and it was twisting the allen key.
