My first ride on the red bull
well I changed the oil, installed a new wear ring, and although it has a 15/20 concord that is supposed to make it lazy and slow, my no mods 06 RXP is one crazy ass ride. was out at miller beach on lake michigan, pretty much glass to ripples all day. if this is lazy and slow I cant wait to see alert and fast.
First off this thing does not handle like a 700 lb machine it is a lot more nimble than people led me to believe. I would NOT categorize this as a couch. My first quick turn at about 45 mph this thing bit so hard, I went over the top, slammed into the nose, slammed into the water, and then the Red Bull decided to run me over on top of that. As soon as I figured out nothing was broken or bleeding, I laughed my frikkin ass off. Ski was about 50 yards away so that was a painful swim back to it.
THE POWER of these machines is nothing short of incredible. I cannot wait to get a stock prop back on as my max RPM's was 7500 today. So to anyone who is contemplating getting an RXP and is torn between this and some other brand, I would say dont even consider another brand, YOU WILL BE SORRY.
The only thing that kind of sucked was there was numerous Hondas, Yamahas, and Kawasakis out racing, and NOT ONE PERSON wanted to line up next to me.....I wonder why????? I am kinda ugly.....

Glad to hear you are not hurt. I have fallen off going that fast and my right as check was very sore for a few days.
Your RPMs are low. I would think you should be at least 7800 if the water was really hot. And higher if the water was not that warm.

Haha glad to hear from another happy sea doo buyer. Now go out and get yourself some mods and put that 15/20 to work. Then no one will want to race you...or atleast no one will win.

We should start a list of excuses; Why they bought another ski,and why they don't care to drag?

Should of chased them down and blew by them anyways!

I dont understand why anybody would change the sponsons on an RXP. I know the 04's look different maybe not as good? but I cant see this thing turning any tighter than it does

Glad to hear your ok also. I do not know about up there, but down here we have huge dragon flys. I was running flat out with a friends daughter on the back and a dragon fly hit my dead in the eye. I woke up this morning with a BLACK eye.
