    99 Waverunner XL1200 vs XLT1200

Was trying to order an impeller today and the shop asked me if which 99 1200 I had. Said I needed to look at cylinders to tell what type of engine and therefore what type of impeller I need. Can someone give me some more direction with this..... Please!!!

the 99 is a non powervalve and the jugs are one piece I believe whereas the powervalve motor or xlt has independent jugs. Also look in between the exhaust manifold and head, is there any linkage there?

When u say jugs u mean cylinders correct??? I am pretty sure they are all one piece. This would mean it is non PV correct????

99 and 2000 is the XL 1200 limited and is the powervalve motor, 2001 to 2005 is the XLT and is the same parts as the previous 2 years... 1998 and older is the non powervalve.. Different everything ... Hope that helps
