    951 engine assy help

I am putting my 951 back together in my 98 GSXL. I cleaned the case halves and set the crank in, but how do you setup the timing for the counter balancer? I was looking for a marking or something to line up, but I dont know what I am looking for.

Also what are the tightening sequences and torque for the case bolts? I have them for the head and cylinders.

Great reading through the manual it would have been nice to know this before disassembly "THere is no woodruff key to position the counterweights. An index mark must be traced to retain the proper position of the counter weight" Does anyone have a procedure for putting this back together timed correctly???

There are marks on the crank and on the CB shaft. They need to be lined up.

    Three Bond 1211 or Hondabond.

Hylomar is great on some things but I would not use it to seal cases.

Don't use Hondabond or any thick bodied sealant use Loctite 515. Also be sure to use a small amount of antiseize on all fasteners for accurate torque readings.
