Pictures of stock SC clutch @ 80 hours

Today I pulled my SC and this is how the stock clutch looked @ 80 hours. i think it looks intack and good but I dont have the eye to realy tell. So far I think it will be ok to add the Vortex SC impeller.

Does the Vortech add stress to the clutch? Wondering why you'd need to replace clutch if it didn't.

The Vortech is lighter which should put less stress on the clutch.

Just make sure you keep that sob clean while your working on it. Don't let any dust or other contaminates settle on the gear/clutch area.

what u need to do, or should do is take the clutches and washers and disks off the Supercahrger shaft..... then u'll be able to see if there's any scoaring or damage to the sahft itself also...

but ya know what.... taking it apart will jstu ask for trouble... if your RPMS loko good and top speed is good... don't touch a damn thing... jsut throw on the Vortech like Jerry said.

Don't fix what ain't broke..... altho with these damn clutches sometimes you doo wanna fix em before they break so u don't need new oil pumps and crap

Damn...I was thinking about sending my SC to PPG and have them install my Vortech and RR shaft and clutch. But I don't have any problems with my stock at 80+ hours and perhaps I should just throw on the Vortech and ride it out this season.
