I am looking at the instructions for the power cooler and was wondering are you guys using the blow of valve or are you sealing off the breather hole. I dont think I need it but wanted to see what you guys think

i seal off my BOV outlet. You can get a big vacuum plug from an auto parts store and just use a hose clamp to hold it on.

I thought the BOV helped keep the SC together. Will the Intercooler function better without it?

Good question Bama,,,I ride chop and still belive it will help me but haven`t tried one yet. Riva swears by them, big boyz here swear opposite. I know my charger clutches don`t last and I actually look for the wind then go out. I guess I need to pull out my pockets and buy one to find out if it is really for me or not.

Bama - As per Les (B kit maker), the larger (aftermarket) s/c's need the the backpressure to slow the spin. They come with hd clutches though. Stock, less powerful, skis run the bov to preserve clutch life.
