What is a 2-stroke "Top End"

What I call a "Top End" consists of complete cylinder heads and intake manifold, what is the "Top End" referring to when used in reference to a 2T motor?

65U top end is cylinders and pistons and a head.
    Might not include a head.
    No intake manifold

Guess that makes sense, Ive always called pistons part of the bottom end. Cool to see how differnt a 2T motor is.
