    Need help with JD open loop cooling install

    1) The 2 black plastic couplers... Is this to connect 1/2" hose to the 3/4" oil cooler hoses that are come on the ski?

    2) The nipple... I figure this is coupled at the head... but it is not in the diagram??

    3) I know where this, hell i don't know what you call it, goes... in the top of the water pump cover.. what's it for??

    4) the 1/4" line off the head.... where does this go??

    Post 49 and 50 in this thread (above) say the restricter washer gets drilled out.... to what size??

    Was there supposed to be instructions that came with this kit??

    Correct..This is for the hose coming off the head..It is a reduser from the head to the exhaust manifold...

    Its for salt water riders..Is for corrotion..I cannot remeber the name either.I think they call it an Anode..

    4) the 1/4" line off the head.... where does this go??

    It can either be blocked off or used as a bleeder line to let any air pockets out..

    I am completely lost....

    Thanks sno...

    This is what I have to work with... there is nothing on the T that is off the pump, or nothing about the nipple off the head... or nothing about drilling the restricter washer out...

    Ok.... after looking again, (now feeling even more retarded!) I see where the nipple line goes...

    Still no idea what the set screw is for, or how to the oil cooler lines are hooked up...
