Check the compression on the cylinders....ya might have damaged a piston somehow.

I noticed that I was pumping out more water than I should be, and I ran it with the seat off.... got a bad gasket. Leaking a lot of water inside got it to slow down so I could run it back to launch. I completely emptied the water out By doing that I got it to run at 57-58MPH and 6200-6300 rpm. The longer I ran it the slower it got. I think its because of the water leaking? It still ran over or at 55 mph When I got it on the trailer it pumped for a while. What do you think?

I think its called the exhaust pipe gasket. Not were it bolts to the motor or the jugs there are 4 bolts on the top and is right next to the cylinders. I think its the start of the exhaust pipe.

Skat for low end pulling. A NuJet for top end and acceleration...it can be modified to be very good on low end as well.
