    Check out my new ride

Took a few pics of my new ride. I was looking for something with more room than my '04 Silverado regular cab and equal performance and also be able to tow the skis. The performance part was hard to match since I had a STS turbo kit on my silverado and had got use to the power.

I found this '06 Trailblazer SS and I was in love 395hp 400 ft.lbs 10.9:1 compression LS2 engine same as the base Corvette engine just with a different intake. The SS trailblazer has a tow rating of 6800lbs The ride and handling is awesome and these heavy suv's are able to click off high 13's in the 1/4 mile

Chrysler has an suv similar and 400hp but the price tag is well in the 40's
This one was 31,700 but GM is probably offering rebates on on '06 models and mine was also 0% financing...you can't beat that. Mine is considered a base model, its an LS with the SS package. It has everything I wanted, power seat, power windows, locks, on star.
But you can get them in awd and leather and sunroof if you want. The awd version is slightly slower since the 2wd model really doesn't have a traction problem. I know someone with a 2wd, with a custom tune, cold air intake, and a higher stall converter and it knocks down high 12's in the 1/4 mile on the stock tires and stock exhaust!

I think its all the time 4wd no switching between them. The only reason I'd want 4wd is if it was bad weather or snow.

We had a white one swing by the shop Friday. I like them. Good deal.
