    Tachometer Accuracy

I have a 2008 RXT. The tach seems to bounce around. At idle it goes between 1760 and 1820. All the way to WOT no matter how hard I try, I can't get it to say at one RPM. At WOT it will bounce between 7720 and 7820, I ride on a lake at 1500 ft of alt. Do all the tachs do this? thanks...bob

mine is also pretty jumpy, but as far as i have ever heard, that is normal, and the tachs on seadoos are very good/accurate. they update very fast like several times per sec, so thats why they are so jumpy.
never heard of a bad tach on a seadoo
