    01 Virage perf Ideas needed

    I just tore tore down my 01 Virage 700 to rebuild the top end as well as the pump, I want to get a little more kick out of the guy. I have looked for exhaust and Dual carbs with no luck. Does anyone have any proven port timing specs? What impeller seems to do the best on this ski?

    How much more power are you looking for?

    You can put a three cylinder domestic 1200 motor in there, if you really want to boost it.

    why not build a 800? best bang for the $

    800 sounds good Who make the OS Pistons/Crank? I do my own machine work so that would be the easiest.

    1200- that would be a wild ride in that hull

    well i have a brand new crank and some used cylinders that will need to be bored...i can bore them for you if you like. Also the case is going to have to be modified(bored) to allow the pistons to drop down inside. No custom pistons either just stock polaris 800/1200 pistons.

    crank and cylinders(need to be bored) cost you 650.00 at your door. If you want me to bore and hone your cylinders and or machine the cases that would be additional..but i remember you saying you can do the machine work?
