I purchased a starter solenoid for my 2006 RXP and it was a superseded number. Here's the P/N of the part they sold me - 278002347

My RXP's engine failed before I had a chance to install the solenoid.

If this part will work for your ski, let me know and I'll sell it for $30 and include FREE shipping.

I could mail it today, but that's cutting it pretty close and I'd feel bad if a delay screwed up your vacation or something.

I think I only paid about $45 for the part - if I were you I'd rather get one local and pay a little more just so you don't have to worry about it. The dealer I bought mine from had 12 in stock - they must have a pretty high failure rate to warrant having that many in stock.

Where are you located? Maybe UPS? I could pay a little extra for shipping.

I'm located in the Seattle area - Zip Code 98546

Concerning the P/N and Jerry's OEM Catalog, all you have to do is add the part to your basket and it will provide the P/N when you go to the checkout process. There's no need to buy the part - this is just how you can figure out what the P/N is.

I just checked the Jerry's OEM Catalog - the original P/N for the Starter Solenoid was 278001802 and it superceded to 278002347.

Before we did anything I'd want to make 100% certain that your ski requires the same P/N.

Concerning getting it there by the 7th at noon, it appears that it would work if I mail it today and use U.S. Express Mail because they claim it only takes two days to deliver.

I'd be willing to mail it via U.S. Express Mail for $35, but I'd still suggest getting it from a local dealer if that's an option. Maybe I just worry too much, but summers are short here in Seattle and the thought that your trip/vacation might be screwed up due to a delayed package would drive me nuts.

Please let me know if you want me to ship the part - I'll probably be heading into town within the next couple of hours.

That's great - I'm glad you found the part locally so you don't have to worry about shipping time.

Thanks for the update and I hope your ski is up and operational soon.
