just picked up another old school.

i wanted another ski, since i bought my raider i have been looking. came across this today, it has 37.4 hours on it. it was stored up until a year ago, the previous owner died or something, and the guy i got it from purchased it at an estate sale. needs nothing. i gave him my single trailer, and got this ski and trailer for 2 grand. what do you guys think? by the weekend the raider will be ready to go also.

clean ski 97? I used to own a waveventure 700. Looked just like that one except little slower. That was a good ski, never had a problem and rode the chop pretty good.

    acetone

And If it were me, I would personally go through the carbs since it's been sitting man. Don't take a chance on something being gummed up!

the guy i picked it up from today told me he just went thru them at the begining of the summer, since it was sitting for so long. then he went out and bought a 4 poke, and decided to sell this thing, i thought he was nuts for selling it, but i wasnt going to tell him. it starts up, runs and idles like it is brand new. gotta love yamaha 2 pokes!

i now own 6 old school yamahas. 3 banshees, a 95 yz125, a raider and this new baby. i need to sell off some toys! i think the dirt bike and a banshee have to go.

the venture has a weird kind of flush hookup, its mounted under the seat and looks like something attatches to the garden hose, reduces the size, and then clips in. is this a dealer item or something i would have to order?

If it's a '96, it's probalby like my old B2. Parker Yamaha has them here:

    Stickker remover

I took mine off last night and I used a heat gun (or you could substitue it with a hair blow dryer) and pull it off. Then use universal degreaser with a cloth to get rid of the outline from dirt etc.
