    Polaris Virage TX 1200 Leaks

    Hi All,

    I'm new to the jet skiing however after owning and using my ski over the last 7 months my ski has started to leak and it looks like the leak is coming through wheere crank shaft goes out towards the impellor.

    My questions are what is causing it? Whether its the seal which is meant to be there? Then how to fix it?

    Also the cover that protects the crank shaft is also very loose and should there be grease covering the crank shaft?

    Any help is appreciated thanks

    Martin

    Welcome

    Click below, and follow the links for lots of good info.

    You can replace the seals in the through-hull bearing assembly;
    Check for water leaks at the through-hull bearing seals
