Jet Trim BSD keep ripping. HELP!
Every summer my bsd rips toward the ends. It's fine in the winter but when it's 105+ degrees I think the rubber gets soft and rips where the rivets are.
Any idea how to fix this? Real plain in the butt and it looks like shit when I'm idling into the marina and parts of it are ripped away.

Do you have it glued on as well... or are you just relying on the rivets to hold it on
I have ripped one in the middle from a damn jet dock... but have never had one come loose from the hull. Sand the hull surface down along with the spray deflector, then use contact cement to attach it... then rivets or bolts. I just use rivets... a bunch of them!

Keith secure it using bolts with washers... This is how I do mine and it works great!
