    X-Boat.. removing the decals

    Anyone done this??

I like the idea of not looking like the rest and with the bars I have and the Jettirm seat I'm thinking of just taking off all of the stickers...

do it first thing i did when i got my 07 rxt home was peel all the stickers but the seadoo one on the bottom of the hull. I was the only one with a black and yellow rxt or rxp at the local lake and then 3 weeks later to older guys went and bought 2 of them and i was thank full that only thing that matched was the hood and now i am going black on that 2.

Someone had an x boat for sale a good while back. The guy removed all the stickers and changed the top hood and grab handle to the black stock ones and had a gray and black seat cover. The ski looked incredible.

That was my thought.. but I kind of screwed myself with the orange highlights in my seat! ... LOL..

Still.... without the orange bars and stickers I'm thinking it would look OK..

I think so. I think I will change the hood and grab handle and do the other stuff later.

i took all the stickers off my xp. used a heat gun, paint thinner to remove the glue residue around the edges of the stickers, and a lot of friggin elbow grease. looks totally different i love it. good luck
