X SC vs. RR SC with XS IC
Take two identically prepared RXT skis... but one has an X charger and OEM IC, and the other has an RR/Green wheel and XS IC... which one will be faster?
What say you?

I would think the green wheel and xs combo

Good question. I plan on adding x charger to my rxt and keeping oem ic at this stage so i hope this will be the faster option! Also just wondering could you run the x charger and pro series spacer with the oem ic?

Is the OEM IC an X IC or the older integrated one?

Jeff I would have to say the X SCer and stock IC.
Ray (Sundance has a X Scer with NO IC and he just absolutly kills stock boats and alot of modded ones. He runs as high as 71.5 on his gtx, but a average of 70. He has no IC and just 42lb injecters with his set up.
It would be close honestly, but I like the XScer! MY .02cents.

Hmmmm, if you are running in moderate air temps the stock IC with x charger will be faster.

I ran that setup most of the summer this year X sc with 42's and stock IC with a 14/19r and was right at 8180 with great accel and a top speed of 72 to 73 on a 07 RXT. I beat green wheel rxp's all day.

OK... now for the results. Water temp was 78, air temp was 87. Both skis were identical in every way possible. The differences were:
- X SC, OEM IC, 138 pound rider, 8050 rpm (Annette)
- RR SC, XS IC, 238 pound rider, 8100 rpm (Mike)
I cruised along side to observe, and all three of us agreed that neither ski was budging from the other. Mike did say that he felt Annette was creeping up slightly until he slid further back on the seat, then the creeping stopped. This makes sense as on several occasions Annette and I have posted faster speeds riding together, with her butt hanging off the back, than just her on board sitting back on the seat.
I set up Annette's ski with the X SC because she doesn't like the sound associated with removing the resonator to fit an XS IC. I was hoping her ski would be faster... I suppose if I pitch it to flicker between 8100-8150 it would have the edge.
Hmmm... where's my prop tool and crescent wrench?

Bro Mike is 100lbs heavier than Annette, Go switch them around and do it again.
I love the X SCer
