FS Rude/Webb Camshaft
This cam was one that Nils designed and Webb cams produced.
Please don't bother Nils with questions about this cam, as he had nothing to do with having them produced he only allowed Webb to turn out a dozen or so and that was it.
This cam has way more lift and duration than any cam out there.
You must use a spring designed for the cam and the Riva kit will Not work!
Nils may can help you out with a spring and retainer kit but if he can not I can put you in touch with someone that can. The kit price is very similar to the Riva kit.
You must understand how to degree a camshaft and how to check piston to valve clearance. If you can not do these two things , or you are not willing to pay someone to do this for you then you do not want this cam.
But if you are comfortable doing this, then you will get a very good lope at idle and the best arm pulling acceleration that a cam can provide.
Those that have "successfully" ran this cam claimed it to be astonishing and claimed their ski pulled harder than any other thing they had ever put on.
Some people had issues with this cam but none of those problems could be traced back to this cam, most I remember came from guys that already had engine problems, did not install it properly, ran their engine lean, or did not use the right spring. I remember one person installed theirs by "eye" with no cam or crank holding tool, and one guy said he thought shimmed stock springs would work just fine after he was instructed not too!
You can do a search on here there are videos of this cam which sound great. If you set this cam up properly you will have a killer set up but as I have described if you can not do it correctly pass this up and get yourself one of the RR cams that are way more forgiving.
This cam is brand new and has never been run, it was messed up when my engine spun a bearing and I had Webb inspect it, repair the bad lobe and send it back.
