    2 Rude vs Rude 1

    Whats the difference performance wise from the Rude 1 and 2 Rude? I have a Rude 1 thats needs to e rrebuilt and was wondering if its worth it to upgrade? Heres my set up, 4" Kana, 50# injecters, Riva ECU, RRFPR, Riva Gen 2 IC (actually I got it from Sea Doo its a X IC), Riva valve train upgrade, Green Hulk waterbox and the usual impeller and pump mods. What else would need to be done?

    ETA, Riva Gen 2 IC

    2 #'s of boost difference and a lot of acceleration..you wouldn't need anything else..

    i would recc the plx devices setup. i have spoken with an r and d guy at Brp and he recc. the plx over the lm1 or 2. the plx is supp to be more accurate at high rpm.

    and yes a walbro....your stock pump will not be enuf.

    You won't need a walbro!! I've been running a ET for 100 hours on your set-up without a single problem.. I'm sure you can barrow a LM1 from someone

    it is worth the cost in gain for the price of 2Rude upgrade.
    you want be disappointed!
    then you can sell the baby rude for cash and then eyeball the 3Rude.
    Really, i went from S3 to Rude1 and going to 2Rude was the same difference in gain.
    Very impressive and I was having excellent holding slip.

    LM-1 or 2 for sure..Fuel pump is not neccesary

    Your stock pump will be fine unless you are turning big RPMS..I am runnning a 2 rude with a Fuel controller with no fuel pump issues at all..

    I seem to have some people that disagree with me on the fuel pump being needed or not.........


    this is the way i look at it ......$89.00 for a Walbro is pretty cheap compared to leaning out your expensive 4 tec engine because the stock fuel pump decided to take a crap.
