having to hold bilge to start
has anyone ever heard of having to hold the start botton and the bilge botton at the same to in order to have a ski start. Also i have to release the start botton first.
I talked to one shop and they told he another customer has the same issue. He was not 100% sure but believed it was cause by the relay that is mounted on top of the battery cover.
has any heard of this before?

there is a post from today answering just that.....when you hold the bilge button and starter at the same time it bypasses the voltage regulator and sends power to the cdi. Maybe a bad voltage regulator

Check your circuit breakers on the top off the battery retainer .When you push the bilge button it allows a different circuit to supply current to allow it to start

Even if it were just the breaker, something tripped it. Usually the voltage regulator, poor ground or of course a short (usually water related),
let us know what you find.
