    Rear air to go 80+

Ive just completed the rear air instalation. While i did this i cleaned the cooler, and checked the slip on my charger. The cooler was bit gunked, and the charger slipped at 9ftp.I have added a shim and got 11.5ftp,cooler is clean as and with the rear air im hopefull to go 80+,because i hit 79.1 last time out with as above on an 83 ring at 8500.I DONT wana lose my hole shot for top end,but do you guys reckon with the rear air cleaned cooler and better slip im gona get 80+ ? plus ive yet to do ride plate holes.,ect.Anything over 80 is bonasouraus.....personally i would settle for more hole shot same speed.....coz catch up sucks....

You should pick up atleast 100rpms. So I think 80+ is possible.

for sure if you get rid of the wedge and tune to a 81mm ring you wont lose that much if any hole shot but that wedge is costing you hole shot IMHO

after cleaning the cooler and pipes, shiming the charger, fitting the rear air, doing the free mods,i went out to test....lumpy engine..plugs ..replaced them, tried again.....warmed up 4/5 mins did a couple of short runs.....duno if its clean pipes and cooler,or the rear air,or charger slipped right, but the ski was mental in the extreme. It felt so much crisper, fast and sharp.DID 3 short runs in choppy sea close to the shore.Went for a full run......BLEW A COOLER PIPE OFFBUT,when i looked at the GPS i had hit 78.1 in one of the previous runs..ive gon faster but not in such a short distance..80+ should be my next post.. if it holds together for long enough...THE REAR AIR AND THRU HULL EXHAUST SOUNDS AMAZING
