Chrome rub rail and black part number rub rail help please

Has anyone ever done a chrome rub rail like this? If so where did you get it from?

Also Whats the part numbers or year and application for a black rub rail insert for an rxp? I looked in the OEM store and can only find the colored ones. I have a brand new insert set in red im selling and thinking about going black if I dont do the chrome thing.

    heres the chrome one....

For true black inserts order them for a 07 GTI you will have to cut them down a little, but no big deal there

I would imagine that chrome would look like ass after bumping into the dock a few times

thanks. I figured to get black, I would have to order them for something other then an rxp.

I never let my ski's touch the dock so I wouldn't have to worry about that, but Im starting to think I like the solid black more anyway.

I replaced my green rails for black on my 05 RXP... and it makes a night and day difference in the looks!

Tell me about it. My 05 is red and I put some black electrical tape on the rails for a few minutes just to get an idea what it would look like and it was a huge improvment. I hate the color red anyway so it was a win win situation.

It'll be getting black rails before it goes back out on the water.
