Getting Wisdom Teeth Pulled
Whoever said that getting your wisdom teeth pulled was easy was on crack or something before they went in. I just got out of the dentist about 5 hours ago. I got home was in sooo much pain for about 2 hours until the vikodin kicked in then I took a motrin 800 to becuase I was in soo much pain. Usually I have had a high pain tolerance, but this kicked my arse. I am still bleeding and have blood all over my bed... ughhh and sunday is supposed to be the hottest day of the year... I WANT TO BE ON THE LAKE!!!!

Watch out for the dreaded "Dry Socket"
That pain will even trump what you are going through now.

yeah, dental pain sucks, but once the vicodin builds up you'll be ok..but getting ogff the vicodin has it's own brand of fun. Drink lots of water and eat lots of fruit, like banansa, or you'll be in a slightly different type of pain.
icepacks help lots also.
I was all dosed up on vicodin before I got into the drill to get them extacted. Moderatley painful, but rmeber, pain is all in the mind, you can throttle it with concentraion. think of a glass smooth lake and a new supercharged ski....

A couple of mine were wedged in so tight that they had to file away at my jawbone a little bit and then break the teeth up somehow and extract them that way.
I was in bad shape. My face was swollen to the size of a football and the vicatin made me throw up so I didnt take it.
It was the day before New Years eve too!

Another thing that sucks that you experience is swelling of your gums. Rignt now they are stitched up pretty tight. Wait until the swelling starts and puts real pressure on those stitches. Youre gonna be lovin life brother.
Cold drinks, popsicles, icecream, etc are your new best friends.
