    Need Fuel Screw Settings - 97 Challenger 1800

    Hey guys, I need Hi/Low fuel screw settings for a '97 Challenger 1800. I've found two different setups and not sure which one is correct. Please let me know if you have a manual or know where to find these settings. Thanks a lot!

    The shop manual states the following

    LSA = 1 (+ or - 1/4)
    HSA = 0

    Main Jet = MAG(145) & PTO (140)
    Pilot Jet = 67.5

    Yeah, that was one of the setups I found. However, on the Seadoo parts fiche it shows 142.5 Mag and 145 PTO mains and that's what was in the carbs so the how credible does that make the manual look? I guess I'll just have to play with them. Anybody else? Thanks for your time. -Clay

    96XPSS might chip in, but I believe you want the pto side a lil richer due to heat.

    HS = 0 and I personally have my lows set at 1.5 turns. But 1-1/4 is a good starting place.

    The manual is credible, (most of the time)

    The reason for the staggered Jetting is that your Front Carb. has an accelerator Pump. It doesn't need quite as much Fuel.

    LS: 1 1/2 +/- 1/4

    HS: Closed or maybe 1/8th open depending on altitude
