    08 SHO Cruiser

I was wondering if its normal to have a little water in hull of my SHO cruiser. No matter if I dry it out, there always seems to be just a little water in the hull toward the back around the exhaust area. I have place ski on hose and see no leaks and its not a huge amount of water... Just wondering.

I always have a little water in mine too (except the standup--go figure).

Just make a note to store it for the winter with the seat off at least initially so it can dry out. I didn't do that my first winter with a ski and it was nasty in the spring.

1+... If your ski is level, most the water will be trap below the supercharger. I usually take a shop vac and vacuum all the water out. It's easier to access the bottom of the hull if you have an aftermarket intake.

There's always a little water in my SHO after a ride. I just tip the ski back and use a shop vac to get it all out.

Same here. Any ideas of where the heck it comes from?

I know it's not the hood seal cause it's always dry in the storage compartment. I've even run the ski on the trailer (backed down into the water) and couldn't find any hoses or fittings leaking either.

I think it's the intermediate housing seal but I'm not sure.

I always have a little water in the back also. I prop the front of the trailer up on a cinder block so all the water goes to the back and then mop it up with a towel. Water seems a little oily though, anyone else have oily water?

I use a sponge. Works better than a towel.

Early days for me yet, only had my near new 08 sho in the water twice, It also had what I thought was a little to much water in the hull compared to my trusty Polaris MSX. On investigation the quick trim cable through hull boot had been sealed/cable tied to the cables in the wrong place so as soon as the steering was turned out it popped. All good now! I do not know what Pre delivery means to some You can have checkyours with a torch on the starbaord side under the cowling.
The other place I witnessed a 'leak' was the cable enty boot for the dash wiring etc although this was only minor I added another cable tie. Remove the cover in the front compartment to check this one.
I have yet to test again in the water to make sure ther are no other 'leaks'

    Cheers
