    Mods That Void a Warranty

What mods will void a warranty and what is the limit of mods that can be done without voiding a warranty on sc 4-tec?

Any modding may/can void your warranty. You kind of need to ask the dealer you think may do warranty work that question. My dealer said if it was a RIVA Stage1 kit, they would still warranty it. I have since gone way past that stage.

ALL. Do you think BRP will give you any break on even a simple mod like an intake grate or sticker? It's a Get Out of Jail Free for them! I reccomend keeping old parts and when a warranty issue arises, put them back on and then go to the shop.

Depend on the dealer like jp1300r said, my dealers both said Riva stg1 no problem, had 2 motors put in my 06 under warranty with Riva stg1. I think as long as you dont go into the engine you would be ok.

Could they tell if you were to put bigger injectors or even a different wheel on the s/c? The Rude 3 mini set up for the X sure looks inviting.

My dealer doesn't even like the ride plate holes filled. But that's the one I use for minor stuff. I use another one for major stuff.

So, it sounds like if you wax your ski, put gas in it, or check the oil level they will void the warranty. Hmmmm. What happens if you look at it? ... Ron

My dealer said put anything i want on the machine, but he doesnt want to see it when it comes back in the shop. so basically, go nuts, tell me about it, but when it breaks bring it back in stock for and you are fine.
