RPM question first time out on green wheel and new prop

So first ride of the season for me, yeah I know dragging my butt. Here is my question on RPM and where I should be and weather I am good to go or not.

    The setup;

    05 RXP
    Wedge
    Exhaust
    Fizzle IC
    42 lb injectors
    Greenwheel SC
    Riva 3" intake

    15/20R prop

First time out today 21* outside temp low humidity, lake temp 72*

My ski pulls 8100-8150 out of the gate and loads down to about 7800 then slowly pulls back to 7850-7950 and sits there mostly 7900 though.

If I am cruising and hammer it I pull 7800 then creep up to 7850 and sometimes up to 7900- 7950 depending on the lake chop.

Do these RPM's sound about right for my setup on a stock prop untouched? I was thinking on getting the 4" intake to get my rpm up a touch but I want to make sure my number's are not low first.

How does this look? PS I forgot my GPS so no speed #'s however I dominate my bro in laws FX15.

I saw the same thing on my Ski with the same set up.

What Jerry told me was that I needed to take 1 mm out of the trailing edge of the prop.... That will get you to the 8100 RPM's that you want.

Look under the how-to to learn about bending the prop.

No prob... try taking 1 mm out first... if that doesn't work try 2, but no more than 2 should be needed.

Would I gain the RPM I am missing by adding the 4" intake over the 3" and adding a bleed line to the top of my fizzle IC to a pisser out back?

Talked to Jerry and ordered a 4" Fizzle kit with a catch can. Going to look for my other 100 rpm this way instead of playing with the prop. The more pitch I can run to me the more MPH I will make.

The 4In will get you pretty darn close if not all the way. Do you already have a thru hull or free flow exhaust? If not that would get you the rest of the way for sure.

Sounds about right. I have the same setup with a 4" running around 7950 @ 74.3

    I'm in the same boat.
