Blown fuse on Digital Display 96 Polaris SLT 780. Help!

I found the MFD fuse and it was blown. But here's the thing. It had a 1A fuse in it and when I opened the box water came out (not a lot but some). Did not seem to be any corrosion and connectors had plenty of lube. My question no is what is the right size fuse? Can I use the 1A? Why did water come out and do I need to seal it when I put it back together? How about letting it dry out first? Thanks again for your help.

I believe it should have a 1/4A fuse. There should also be a O-ring between the two halves of the case that seals it. I would let it dry out before sealing it back up.

Thanks. I think that 1A fuse belongs to the bilge pump. I found the 1/4 A fuse also. Replaced both and the MFD is working!!!! Not sure about the pump because there is not enough water to trigger it.

The bilge pump requires a 3 amp fuse. The OE pump is not automatic. It's wired to run anytime the engine runs.

Where does it come out because I am not sure it is working? I opened the electrical box today, both fuses were ok but MFD still not working? I am trying to make sure I have the right fuses? Thanks

Pull the plug at the mfd and check for volts between the red/pur and black wires in the plug.
