FS: OEM milled head by Riva (1200 pv 66V) with new gaskets

FS: OEM milled head by Riva (1200 pv 66V)
$165.00 includes Insured Priority Mail shipping and NEW gaskets
    Came off a GP1200R 00'

As you can see in the picture it has normal signs of use, original paint is flaking in some areas. Perfect functional condition.

Also one of threads on the cover that hold the exhaust bracket was repaired with a solid insert (key sert) which is a stronger thread.

Copy of description from Riva: We deck your stock cylinder head and reshape the combustion chambers to increase compression safely. Low-end punch and mid-range pull are increased. For 92+ octane pump fuel applications.
    Compression is around 150 psi.

Milling only is $120.00 RYS10023-66V plus two way shipping
New gaskets should be around $40.00

This is an excellent upgrade at a great price, for a stock 1200R looking for some bottom end punch.

Iam interested . Does the decked head give you any more top end ?

Maybe other members can chime in and can provide more specific details about the gains.

But from what I know this head improves overall range including top end. It will also allow you to run a taller pitched impeller or perhaps turn a dynafly with the new 05' high pressure pump, this results in higher top end speed.

    milled head

I might be posting this in the wrong place, but what's the difference between going with a Riva milled head vs. a Riva (or other) aluminum head? Can anyone chime in on this?
