    engine knock sensor

Is there anyway to bypass the engine knock sensor on a 2002 F-12x?

I think I have a bad sensor and wanted to see if there is anyway to bypass it or just test the sensor. The tech at my local dealer ship is on vaction and I'd like to rideback on the before he gets back on Aug 17th. I can get another sensor if its just a bad sensor and replace it myself.
