The pulse hose goes from the nipple on the very front plate (1/4 inch/6mm) to one of the two nipples (1/4 inch/6mm) on the rear of the cases on the carb side (the other nipple back there is for the RAVEs).

On the carbs you will have one large nipple (fuel inlet 5/16/8mm) and two small nipples (fuel feed to rear carb and the "T" return fitting 1/4 inch/6mm) on the front carb. The rear carb has a 1/4 inch/6mm fuel inlet on the side and a 1/4 inch/6mm return nipple on the front side plate.

Where is this nipple in relationship to the one for the raves? Also what do you mean by "front plate"?

And the lesson learned here is: Take your time taking something apart. For when you get in a hurry, you forget where things are, and where they go.

There are two nipple that tap the rear case crank cavity. Either can be used for the pulse line or the RAVE supply line. The location is more convienent for the rear one to be the RAVEs and the front to be the pulse.

The "Front Plate" is litteraly an aluminum plate that is screwed (rather obviously) onto the front (as mounted) of the carb. There is a fitting on this plate on both carbs. They are both 1/4 inch. On the front (mag) carb that plate is the cap for the fuel pump and the fitting there is for the pulse line. On the rear carb that plate bolts right onto the carb and the fitting is the restricted return fitting.

The rear plates are, of course, the diaphram covers where all the working goodies of the carbs are located.
