I already sent you a PM with what to do. That is the ONLY option to set it up "right" on your ski. I have been looking for 6 months, trust me. The one above will not work on your ski.

Yeah you want me to get that other seal that cost $236 and I have to get my shaft machined down to 1'', I wont be doing as much crazy stuff as some of these other guys so all I need is a RAD4 witch is almost half the price. Do you have to machine down for the RAD4?

Well, then reinstall the carbon seal. There is no other seal that will work.

The one I told you to get is the Rad4 seal for the RXT. Yes you have to machine the shaft for all Rad4 seals. Just look at these two shafts that came out of my ski. You dont want a new seal to ride on these types of surfaces. That second picture only has about 40 hours on it (pulled it out today) and as you can see the surface will tear up the new seal and bearings therfore you need to machine the shaft.

Check these threads out - http://www.greenhulk.net/forums/sear...archid=2326702 There is a lot of good info, but it all pertains to the RXP.

Crap, Well I guess If I want it done right I will have to.
(If you dont have time to do it right the first time, then where are you going to get the time to do it again?)
weekend plans of taking the ski was cancled, I didnt do anything to it.

Well If I dont want to buy a new carbon seal and a alignment tool I guess I can get it machined and put out the $180.

Exactly. When I converted my RXT to the RXT-X pump shoe setup I wanted to do the seal but had to go to carbon ring since nothing was available yet. Now I am taking it apart again to do it right. You can see by the black line and sut in my hull that water was comming in through the carbon seal and the carbon/water gets slung to the bottom of the hull. No more.
