First Ski is A Polaris!!
Ive been dreaming of a ski for a while. The plan was to spring for one once our vacation house would sell, for the family to enjoy. I was looking around on craigslist and just couldnt pass this up.
1993 SL650 rebuilt top end, K&N flame arrestor etc.. with trailer for $800!
Took it out today for the first time, was only out for a short bit as the DMV was closed so I couldn't get her register blah blah
And a quick video
Runs like a champ. Im more than happy with it as my first ski, once the time comes to upgrade I'm sure I'm keeping it. Too good of a deal

I'd start with a 94 or newer jet pump cause she seems to be running fine.

Might just be a noob thing or something is wrong, but it wont accelerate right out. Meaning if I point the ski streight and hammer on the throttle, Itl move a bit and just stop pulling and rev like crazy, kind of like what it would be if you pressed the clutch in while on the gas on a car..
When I steer to the left ans snap back it hooks and hauls ass so it hasnt reallt been bothering me.

Welcome from one noob to another lol. I'm in the same position you are... I just bought our first one last week.
Its one hell of a learning curve thats for sure!
Could your problem as simple as something obstructing the water intake?
