    Riva stage one results?

I'm thinking about getting an riva stage one for my 06 rxp and filling the rideplate holes, wanting to know if any one has problems with them, a guy at the dealer said the stage one could make me lose speed by installing it. post your gains or losses if you had any....thanks

    That guy is an idiot

the Riva stage 1 is a great value you should see a 3-4 mph increase over stock.

Yeah I don't know if I would want that guy touching my ski if he thinks a stage one is going to scrub speed.

Yeah I think I'm going somewhere else, definatly getting the stg. 1 though. I will do the rideplate holes and have a dealer put the stg. 1 on don't want to screw it up, I want to try and take off the prop cone but not to sure about it, I guess if Greenhulk suggested it, it should be ok.

Well stage 1 should give you maybe 1-2 MPH. At least it did for me. I do think however that RIVA's advertised gains are generally overstated in the real world , at least it is for us hot water guys. Now as far as that Stage 3 kit is concerned, that kit is WAY TOO lean as some of us have pointed out in a separate thread.
