    Electronic Controlled Water Injection Question

    Hi guys,

Quick question, I noticed that as soon as I put the key in on my 96 XP with factory pipe and ecwi MSD box that the solenoid clicks.
    its a KIP solenoid.

Is this normal? I assume that it shouldnt click ie. open until mid rpm range.

Or is the clicking actually the closing of the valve?

Put a meter on it and see how long it stays powered up. It may just test click then de-energize. And if it does stay powered, what rpms does it start pulsing off, then completely de-energize?

These solenoids power to open, like you suspected they did.

I run a Rossier pipe so it might vary a little. You will need to adj for your pipe, but this would be good starting settings. This is with a MSD PWM Switch.

1- water full on about 3500 rpms
    2-water begin off 5500 rpms
    3-water full off 6250 rpms
