    Mutant Marigold..

Ive got one thats like four feet tall and freakin enormous... I always thought these things stayed small and mounded. This thing looks like a sunflower. Im going to go take a pic of it when my digital camera battery is charged up.

Don't have a mutant marigold, but I found a strange piece of drift wood(ie) a few weeks ago. I'm thinking of putting it on eBay... Ron

no and the funny part is I bought it at a plant sale at school for .50 and it was TINY. I bought a bunch of annuals there the same way. I wasnt sure if many of them would even make it.

    This thing is a freak...

i know this thread is lame but this thing just wont stop growing. I had to show it to someone

and besides, it prompted Ron to show us all his wood.

    unusual things

I don't mean to hijack a thread that marigold is huge I am with you all the ones Ive grown stay pretty small. But I watched this hawk catch this squirrell in my front yard sunday, and I live in a subdivision with lots of houses and traffic. I ran in the house and got the camera and snaped this pic. It must have been hungery because it wasn't letting go of that squirrel even though I was that close. Thanks for looking just had to share>
