Nervous- should i remove some oil?????

Just got my 2004 MSX150 2 weeks ago. Running it for the first time on water tomorrow. I ran it for 5 seconds in my garage today- checked the engine oil twice, and both times its right at the max level. I know it should be between the min. and max line. Its making me nervous, should I siphon some oil out? Thanks guys!
