Supercharger: metal washers over ceramic ones?

So just to make sure, the benefit of going to the metal washers for my 2006 RXP superchager over the ceramic ones is that they will never shatter and go through my motor and take out everything..correct? Is that the same with the metal bearings too? Or should I change those out to aftermarket ceramic ones? Im new to all this, the ski has plenty of power for me stock so I donít plan on doing any mods, I just want to bulletproof my motor as much as possible. So if I switch to metal washers and keep the stock metal bearings Ill never have to worry about this again?
    Thanks guys.

Yes, you want to get those ceramic washers out asap. You will need the '08 rebuild kit which has everything to upgrade your SC to '08 standards - metal washers, metal bearings, etc. The only thing that doesn't come with it are the tools to install it with. That's why many people buy the kit and have Jerry install it... Ron

the whole ski only has 80 hours on it. I just bought it on monday, ran it monday for not even an hour to make sure everything was in running order and its been sitting in the garage since. Im taking it home this weekend to give it a good run.

    do not

do not run your ski anymore until you remove the ceramic washers from the s/c........do not even start it........

buy the rebuild kit or send it to Jerry(greenhulk) for a once over.
