    3rd cylinder!

First of all i am a newbie so be easy!

I cannot get the third cylinder out for nothing. I have removed4 bolts at the base, 4 from exhuast side and cant figure out what is holding it on? I have disconnected the power valves from 2nd one but left the pully on as my new one already has set up.
Any suggestions? Is it just sealed and i need to pull or what?

You have an alignment pin in the exhaust manifold, you need to completely remove it or loosen the other bolts enough to slide it back a bit.

there are small alignment pins that align the manifold with the cylinders, you have to loosen the entire exhaust manifold to pull it away from the alignment pin. I am assuming you have the stinger pipe removed also?

Ok i got the manifold losened enough. I can run my finger all the way around, its clear from cylinder. Still cant get it out! it will wiggle but not come out. is there a special twist or something im missing? does the piston need to be up or down? Im stumped, I thought it would just come straight out.
    Thanks for any help/suggestions.

It should pull straight up, try it with the piston down then see if while turning the crank the piston raises it. maybe it is just sticking to the piston.

the piston moves freely up and down, while pushing the other or pushing on it. I guess I just need to keep trying, but its agrivating!

ok I got the cyliner off the crank but cant get it to slide all the way off piston. it is catching on ring or something. Trick to get it all way out?
motor is still in ski so i cant really see under side of cylinder to see what is catching.

These things usually slide right off. You have something hanging in it, slide it down a bit and feel from the bottom for a lip or something. try turning it one way or the other and pull up this should not be this hard. If all else fails pull it up as high as possible and block it up with some pieces of wood, then put a piece of wood in the cylinder and tap the piston down.
