    Hot Hot Hot

Ok, usually I like to be thought of as HOT, however, the overnite thermostat setting on the AC set at a whopping 84 is killin me. Possibly this should have been a premarital discussion~~lol~~. Do tell, what does yours read?

they are programmed.... at night the lower level goes to 76, then by 6am it kicks in and drops to 71. meanwhile at night the upstairs level is at 71 for sleeping, and around 10am it rises to 76 until about 4pm it kicks in for 71 degrees again.

works well with all our work and sleepin schedules so that whatever part of the house we are in is cool, and whatever part of the house we wont be in for hours climbs up a couple degrees.

xcduetester.... 84!!??!? that's just untolerable, lol. i'd probably sleep in the car with the a/c running all night, lol... but probably die of carbon monoxide poisoning.

65 in my room and 76 in the house. Best thing I ever did was put a window unit in my bedroom. I paid $75 for a window unit and it cost me an extra $10 a month to run it. My electric bill use to be $150 or so a month, but since the window unit, its $80 to $90. I'll pay that extra $10 to save $60 to $70 a month, Window units, easy to install and cheap as hell. My room stays 65 all year round, My a/c went out this summer, not a problem as I am rarely in the house, I just came in, showered up, went into my room and aaaaaaahhhhhh, nice and cold. If it breaks down, go back to Home Depot buy another one and install in about 10 minutes.

From 6am to 5pm 84; it goes to 82 at 5pm and at 8pm it goes to 79. The AC runs from 5pm till about 3-4am 100% trying to keep the temps listed. The stupid thermostat is located upstairs which is 10-15 hotter then the first floor.

I wish I could get a couple of window units, but they are so ugly and my bedroom windows are at the front of the house.
