    Building performance 900's

    I see a lot of people building 750's and 80's as well as 1050's and pro 1200's. Is there a reason why no body builds 900's?? I dont see many people on here that own a sl900. Just curious

    Good question. I have a 900 and the answer to your question is probably because the easiest performance upgrade to a 900 would be to bolt on a few 1050 parts (pistons, jugs, heads and carbs) since the 900 and 1050 have the same ignition system and crankshaft. With the added power of the 1050 I am sure you'd want different impeller but not sure.

    I see a lot of people talking about the pro 785. I never rode one or seen one in person. How do they compare to SL models??

    Me too! Does anybody know what type of performance enhancement these domes would provide? Is this just for overall higher power or just holeshot stuff?
