Im about ready to give up On my RXP Please Help!!!

I Got my first ski about 2 weeks ago and its been nothing but suprises.

First I found metal shavings in the engine. It turned out to be shavings from the break in of new rings and bearings after the engine blew up ultimately from a supercharger failure a at 18 hours.(found this out from the dealer who worked on it)

Then i fount a nasty impeller and wear ring so i changed the impeller and wear ring.
Then i checked the oil, It went down. Now im getting worried. I found the oil leak. Its coming from around the drive shaft right at the engine and im not sure what caused this.

I noticed that when i took the old prop off there was a paper towl stuck in the splines acting as a spacer for some reason.

Or could this just be a coincidence.

What do i need to fix the leak, is it just 2 o-rings and a support ring that seals the engine or is there something else?

Huh. Rings and bearings don't leave metal shavings while breaking in! BS.

Completely different ski, but I also noticed this in my oil pan. I just installed new pistons and rings. I found a crank bearing taking a beating. Good luck

Hope your ski is okay. It sounds like the dealer that did the work maybe a little bit of a screw up. Hope the ski wasn't just patched up to be sold.

even without those hose clamps it still shouldnt leak, there is a seal in the end of your crank that is probly bad, its a few bucks and under the crank diagram on the parts fiche, get it replaced!!
